Justin Holt Presents "Battleship" for The Foundry

Justin Holt, Lead Texture Artist at Image Engine and one of The Foundry's MARI Masters, will be showing how Image Engine used MARI in the action sci-fi adventure "Battleship."

Justin was crowned MARI Master a few months ago as he has worked extensively with the tool for a few years now within features and personal projects, for detailed texture work.

Birds of a Feather: Cortex Open Source Framework

Image Engine’s lead programmer, John Haddon hosted a presentation on the latest developments in Cortex, an open-source framework for visual effects software development, to which Image Engine is a primary contributor. He was joined by recent users and contributors Andrew Kaufman (Image Engine), Carsten Kolve (Dr. D Studios), Johannes Saam (Fuel VFX) Ollie Rankin (Method Studios) and Paolo Berto (Jupiter Jazz).
