COVER LETTER

Please send us a one-page cover letter in which you talk about the job you are applying for, how you will be suitable for the company and the position you are applying for. You can also touch briefly on your background in this letter.

RESUME OR C.V.

The résumé should be brief and provide a good description of your work experience, skill sets, education and work-related interests. The résumé is about your history. What you have already done. The résumé has to contain full contact details like a phone number, email address and MUST include a full postal address where you are currently living.

DEMO REEL, SHOW REEL, PORTFOLIO

Put your best work at the beginning. Keep it short, under three minutes. Make a distinction between group projects and solo efforts. Provide breakdowns at the end - if applicable. Only DVD's are accepted. The reel must be able to play in a consumer DVD player, not just a DVD-ROM. Concept, Texturing, Matte Painting and Modeling reels can be accepted on CD format, as long as the content is in a universal format. Images should be standard JPEG or TIFF. Any models should be in Maya ASCII or OBJ format.

SHOT SHEET OR BREAKDOWN

Make a list of each shot in your reel, in the order it appears on your reel, with a short summary of what you did, what others did and the significance of this project (what you learned, problems solved).

REFERENCES

You do not have to send references along with your application, but we may request you to provide us with 3 references, at least one of which should be of a former supervisor. Please be prepared for this request.

Make sure when you post a package it has sufficient postage to get to our offices. Take into account that Customs may add an extra charge. We will not accept packages with insufficient postage. Check your local post office for Customs requirements.
